i have a question about the Dyno process. I have a K7 with an European ECU. Now my question. Do i have to disable the O2 Sensor forever or could i disable it only during the Dyno Process to tune the ECU and afterwards it can activate again?
I would like to use 2 ECUs, the original and a tuned ECU.
Disable it while tuning. You'll have to remove one wire connecting to ecu. Bigger connector, second row from the top, second one from the left if I remember correctly. Black with a brown tracer.
The little U button next to map select buttons allows you to UNIFY all the cylinder maps to same. Originally the maps between outer and inner cylinders are the same, anyhow the argument is that after changing to all short stacks this function should be used.
I don't have the "U" button on my interface. I tried the regular and the beta version (2.4 and 2.5). What am I doing wrong?
ok guys - newby here - hi, iv got a busa 1999 engine in a car and would like a way of accessing the fault codes on the stock ECU (the car hasnt got the bike clocks so they cant be seen) can this program let me see the fault codes and if so how?
i will need a connecting cable by the looks of it which type from where?
where abouts does the cable plug into on the loom?
sorry for all the questions in advance - lots i know but theres some techy info here that is whizzing over my head right now.. :o)
I wonder if the ECU editor program based on the Romraider part of the software? I would also like to know if Romaraider logging.
ECUeditor is written in Visual Basic and RomRaider is written in Java.
The data logging feature in RomRaider requires a specific cable to be used and an xml like logging definition file the defines which bytes in the logging data are rpm, throttle, etc.
The RomRaider is open source so the source code is available so if someone wanted to write drivers for the ECUeditor cable and then write a logging definition then it would be possible for RomRaider to log the Suzukis.
As far as I know however no one has attempted it yet.
what should my fueling parameters be for 40lb injectors? I don't understand the percentage options for consumption and injector sizing and pressures. Do I change them both, or just one of them? thanx
