Schleife, will be ridign through and back germany in early April.
Do you happen to know any austrians who would have a good insight of the weather at the Alps (muchcen, innsbruck, garda route) on 2-3.4.2009. Roads from Rockstock down to Munchen should be good before that. Its just the Alps I am worried knowing that still today is snowing there (and here in Finland too.)
Would like to speak with some of the locals to know if I can ride over the Alps then or should I hire a car or maybe to take an aroplane.
thanks in advance if yuo know anyone who could assist...

Yup, this spring is still more or less winter here in Germany... and even more in the Alps. But forecast says it'll be getting better starting Friday, 27th.
Well, will you be alone on your travel? With the Busa? If so you could take a day's rest here where I live. Check my village on a map: 61250 Usingen (40 Km north of Frankfurt/Main). We could make a little service on your bike. Need new tyres? No prob, can mount them here. Oil change, stearing bearing, valve adjusting... whatever you need. (This is my way to say thank you for all your work on the ECU hacking and I wouldn't feel as much as a lurker than I do today )
Yep, with my Busa K9 with a mate riding a K8. We have agreed to drive down to garda and have a weekend over there with the wifes (who are flying in). Then slowly making progress back up in north.
That return trip is still completely unplanned - so it may well be possible that we stop nearby.
Too early to say anything yet - but I do enjoy seeing faces behind the names. If you drop me an email to ecuhack@tikkari.net with your mobile number and home town we can see if we can make it there for a cup of coffee or so.
