my new turbo project is still in my heart,i am convinced that i can use a boost referenced fuel curve,i was looking at some open source code that megasquirt uses,and it is writen i c++,also they have a complete patch writen for using a atmo,corrected 4 bar sensor,i was thinking that even though it is not a sh2,processor,taking some of the code and re-configureing it and patching it in the sh processor,finding a place and then recompileing it is the harder part.Instead of using a tps to rpm fuel algrothin,using a pressure to rpm??.....am i crazy...I was also still wanting to add a boost controller to the ecu function also.if this all works it could also be carried over to the gen2......

with having very little "free" time i would like to concentrate on the gen1,especially since my new bike is being built,and there is alot of people that have gen1 that wishes to have the same functions as i want..I know that it can be done,but getting it done will be the hard part,BUT i am determined to do it if i had the right info........

thanks maj,i guess all the buzz is centered around the gen 2,and the gen 1 guy's are out of luck?? There are 7 times as many gen 1 out there and i want to keep this stuff alive for us,thats why i am trying so hard,but it seems like i am the only one interested......

I would think far from the only one but maybe part of a exclusive few that have turbo experiance and programming ability.
Can you imagine how usefull a fully turbo compatable version would be to Richard, Seb ect as manufactures and even the guy working on his own bike, to be able to fit bigger injectors and 3-4 bar map , throw away the fmu and pc and tune it like it came from the factory with turbo..
i am going in that direction...slowly....without any help or support from the big guy's,i wish they would...but most of the work has already implemented,i just have to make it work..I already have an external circut driver concept on paper that has proven to work in some of my previous turbo projects(last one 520ci contenental airplane motor 76mm turbonetics w/f250 sd intercooler) amongst many fi car projects,as far as the 3- bar map,i already been playing around with some factory sh7052f turbo stuff and found maps and logic,and created .xml files for,now just to attempt to put them in the busa ecu then re-compile it and see if it will work????

As emailed, please work with JaSa on embedded stuff. He has much better archives than I have on gen1 stuff and he is up to reading the disassembled code too. Its long time since I have done gen1 stuff it so therefore youre way better off with him at this stage.

I'm about to complete fabrication of DIY turbo-kit for my K2 busa and I'm left with ECU.
For some reason Gen1 32bit ECU lacks proper FI support while Gen2 has it. Can someone share archives for Gen1 32-bit so I can continue working on that stuff?
Being embedded SW Engineer adapting/porting Gen2/working shouldn't be hard.
