I Know that we can swap ecus between us & eu market now but has anyone tryed flashing EU.bin file to a US ecu? Any advantage HP wise? Im not sure if suzuki made the ecu the same for both markets. I ve been reading alot here and have done a fair amount of flashing but have not read it here. This idea just popped in my head.
PS: No heavy mods to bike just pipe, filter and small air box mod
GEN 1 2007 US ECU.

I think it faults without the 02 sensor input , and the mapping is different , i think the fuels vary somewhat, our Aussie bikes run better with EU mapping than US and if you set the compare map you can see the differences, there is no magic hp increase ..

Thanks for input guys, Yes the mapping is different on the EU map and i would expect that it would run better then the US map because of the CARB/smog laws here , that's why i think the EU map settings would be a big improvement over the US map here as a standard starting point. Yes it would probably set a O2 code (your guys bikes have O2 sensor on UK 99-07 busa?), unless petrik took it out like the immobilizer lock.
I flashed the EU bin to my US ECU and it works but you guys were right O2 code sets C-44 C-41 ?i forget so that means if i want to leave it flashed the fuel trim will stay rich. so i guess im stuck with us bin .
"food for thought" You could get an O2, wire it to the (get a UK ECU) ECU and have a better running busa. Speed density system (US) is ok but live fuel trim (UK) works much better.
Thanks for the help guys!
