STP MS0 ONLY 80% TPS

Justin

On 21h60 and all other GSXR1000 models the STP map on MS0 only goes to 80% throttle.

This poses a problem when running dual fuels or map switching for Nos.

Is it possible to adjust map to 100% adjustments in MS0 ??

Please , please pretty please ?

Can you give me a better understanding of how you will use this? its pretty straight forward to do, just have to edit the map column info for the stp maps, but i am interested to know the thinking behind needing it?

For Nitrous application the bike switches from MS1 / MS0 when Nos active for Extra Fueling and Timing Retard.
When off the button MS 0 for optimum fueling and timing.
I also use this for Gen 1 Busa.

For this particular K7 we run E30 (ethanol blend) at the strip = MS1.
For daily riding with pump gas = MS 0.

So basically just for dual map capabilities.
So now 1 map is restrictive at WOT as we cannot adjust 100% STP.

my understanding is that the 80% column adjusts from 80% up to 100%, if we move the column value to 100% this value will only work at 100% throttle, is this what you are after?

When I look at the STP map for 6th or any other gear for GSXR 1000 21H60 I see the following :
In the MS1 map it allows adjustments to 100% TPS.
In MS0 it allows adjustments to 80% TPS.

When I run the bike in MS0 at 100 % throttle it will not rev past 11k , although the MS0 STP map is set with MS1 values (copied and pasted).
If you roll the throttle back a bit it will rev higher.
It seems that the MS0 map somehow retains the restricted values at 100% throttle.(As the adjustment is only to 80%)
I thought if the range was made the same as MS1 it would solve my problem.

It would be OK if the values carried through to 100 % , but in practice this does not seem to happen.

Justin you need to modify the Breakpoints values for MS0,
its an easy task but cant be done with EE at the moment.

LenTurbo, send me a private message
with your Email address, i will send you
a modded 21H50.

Hey Manzo, by breakpoints you mean the map column header values?

Exactly Justin,
i mean the 2 little maps where the X-Y values are defined.
In EE you read the header values from a specific memory location,
if you look at such address graphicaly you see that there is a real map in there
where the "scale" ( what i call breakpoints ) is defined.

Those maps are very different from MS0 to MS1.
