Workings of ECU boost control?

I noticed with my 6.5 lb springs before (I had the boost control solenoide)  would build to 6.5 faster then my bike now which has 5 lbs springs and is set for 8.5 lbs on the boost control screen. I dont know if this is in my head. However I am attributing this to the ecu having to see boost, compute and then start stroking the boost solenoide. I may be wrong.

Would there be a way to a pre stroking map for the solenoide that would allow you to pre stroke for boost control and desired boost level

Say a graph RPM vs IAP/boost pre boost.

I may be wrong on how the ecu is using this and the way it excutes its programming, but know there are smart people who may be able to awnser my question.

Oh make it 237rwhp and 97lbs on E-85 100% stock motor 8lbs of boost. Thanks WIN Racing

RE: Gen 2 boost control solenoide EE 3.0 idea.

Thats the 0 % before setting , i typically run mine just below wastegate level in 1st and raise it some in the higher gears

Sorry missed this
0% over 9 is 0 duty cycle on the boost control solenoid above 9psi,
100% below 5 is the wastegate solenoid is held wide open giving equal boost to both the top and bottom of the wastegate untill 5 psi to get it up to that point quicker

duty% is the DC of the solenoid proportioning some pressure to the top side of the wastegate to raise the boost levels

IGN retard , someone commented lately that this is in %, i previously thought it was whole degrees, sobased on that i would say your pulling 3% of your 35 or so deg out on boost (bugger all realy), maybe this should be 10

Ya understand the ign part. I was just alittle confused on the 100% and 0%confuseconfuse. Thanks for the help as usual.

I changed the title so if anyone else has a question about the boost control, they would have a easier time finding it.

I am going to have to play with this.
