2-Step always on on a GEN2 dragbike application

While at the track last weekend, I came across a strange 2-step operation that I have not seen before. This was not my bike, but on a GEN2 big tire drag bike application.

When flashed with a 2-step, the 2-step limiter was always active, regardless of the signal going to the clutch signal ecu pin.

I first thought it may be a neutral issue, but we cut teh neutral signal and tried the bike in gear as well. Gear posisition signal in the data stream was responding normally.

Strange thing is that the ECU pin was showing full ground all the time. No change when looking at the data stream and grounding or in-grounding the clutch pin (pin 60).

Tried a different ECU and the clutch pin was still showing full ground all of the time. The different ECU was not flashed to try it for fear of bricking teh clutch signal pin somehow.

Had me scratching my head....

The bike owner has a bug for a low boost (4-5psi) turbo application for next year to try to run ~7.80's. Initial thoughts are to just pre-spool the turbo at the line and run 5psi the whole way down the track. This should make the bike operate like a more powerful all motor application...stay tuned...

I know this is about a month old thread, but to those that come across this with the same issue I would just like to say that this happened to me as well and I just reflashed the ECU and it went away.

FYI I found that this happened to me when I started playing with slew limiter in the drag tools app. I had to rebuild the entire bin file to remove the issue.
