IAP and AP sensor, What are they?

Hi 4 all There is two sensor IAP & AP . Where are the connected? Moreover, is a check valve required for the vacuum houses? And in which direction? Is replacing a IAP with 3 bar will give an advantage for non-turbo? Is it related Fuel Pressure ? I saw this configuration and I am con fused. http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/903/ffuelsystemime885dc5.png With best regards Ad74710

Inlet air pressure and atmospheric pressure
check valve only once needed on turbo gen 1 to stop a fault code on boost , now it is turned off in the ecu

3 bar iap sensor is only for turbo ,original 1 bar works in the vacuume range to -14.7 -0 psi , 2 bar -14.7 - +14.7psi and 3 bar -14.7 - +29.4, and there are 4 and 5 bar sensors available for realy high boost pressure
