TOPIC: Hayabusa ECU with serial data output communication of the 1k ECU ? (to make gear indicator and temp working on 1k dash)
Hi guys, im new to the forum. i drag racing since 2013 with a Suzuki Gen1 Hayabusa and have the ecu editor since that time and im also familiar with the C/C++ (Arduino) Language...
Here is my problem: I rencently bought a GSX-R 1k 2013 speedometer to switch my old hayabusa gen1 (2002) speedometer for something newer. (I like the gear incicator and digital temp fonction)
I noticed that the 1k speedometer didn't take is information directly from the GPS or temp sensor like the hayabusa but by the serial data wire (B/G) from ECU.
So i Will not be able to have the gear position indicator and temperature working without an ecu reflash with the serial data output communication of the 1k.
In other words is it possible to modify the base map of a gen1 hayabusa and add the 2013 1k speedometer parameter to it ?
to tell the ECU to send the gps and temp info to the 1k speedometer via the serial data wire (B/G)...
suzuki serial data (B/G) information is binary i think...
Let me know if you know if you can help me or know someone i can contact to help me to do that...
Thanks marc-antoineberger@hotmail.com
