K-tag and ecu hacking

Has anybody investigated about using k-tag for 02-07 ecu reading and writing? Alientech support said that it should be possible to read and write 02-03 ecus cause they have tested it.

The issue with this, is the file size is different that romraider expects for the deffinitions. If you compare to the stock ori posted elsewhere here its just padded with FF to make up the correct file size. Ktag seems to read 384kb ( I assume entire MPC ) whereas the actual data area is 256kb so you need to pad it out when re-writing, and delete it to use romraider. I had help from a friend with this as tbh I'm not an expert.

I was hoping to see if anyone had derestricted theirs ( mines an 05 ) and done anything like change all gears to mirror 4th on a stock EU bike? I will be honest, I'm well out my depth here now.
